Oh, hi! I think I kept hitting the green button or the red button. You know what, Mom? What? You know what's so funny? Yesterday, you know how you just start swiping, you just fucking randomly start swiping, hoping to work? I'm doing that now. Oh! No, it's not funny. Okay, it's not funny. I'm like, I felt like you yesterday. I'm like, fuck, and I just started swiping like you. I'm like, oh, I get it, Mom. I totally fucking get it.
I don't like it, but I get it. Hey, Nicole, I think that's wonderful. What? I don't need to be there for that, right? No, no, no. I know, you don't have to, but I just wanted you there for Christmas, but I did think about, so I just want you, don't want you alone for Christmas, and then I would just like to have you for Christmas, right? Yes. She doesn't want me there for Christmas either, because it's snowing and it's wet, and she wants you there in the spring.
Okay, okay, okay. So then we'll just, I'll get a note from your doctor, because it'll be a bit of a fight, but I'll call and say, I'll cancel it, I'll rent. Okay, yeah. We'll do that. All right, I'll make an appointment today, all right? I'll make an appointment today, okay? Yeah, okay. And I'll tell Brad, yeah, he knows what I have to, right? My name's, he knows about that. Okay. Oh, that's great. As long as you're gonna, I just don't want you alone, but Tanya and them are over there, right? Oh, yeah, yeah, you know what? Tanya's got a very good house job, and I'm in Victoria, right, with the girls? Tanya and Mark are down there with the girls, and Tanya said to me, she says, I told her I'm gonna stay home, you know, I'm not gonna go on, she said, that's great.
She says, Tanya and I have a big fight. I think she needs some place to stay. That's great, though, Mom, that was great to hear. But you know what? The other thing, the other thing is, Lucas, Lucas is coming home for 15 days. Oh, my God, he's not coming home. He doesn't have a place to stay, too, to be honest. Oh, okay, that's cool. That makes me happy that you're all alone. No, no, no, no, I know, I know, I know, I totally agree with you.
I understand that, too. I wouldn't want to be, well, I don't care. I mean, now, I'm getting to the point that I like being here alone. I'm getting used to being here alone, so that wouldn't bother me a lot. And now he's coming back, and so, you know, I'm not alone. Don't get too used to it. No, no, but you know, the other thing, you know, she's gonna probably hug, you know, just so I can be open and be honest and everything else.
Yeah. I think that, you know, I think you mentioned when you come up here, I think you're gonna have to bring Jamie up here, too, and Weston. I know, I know. Yeah. I mean, you can bring them here, you know, and then she can go home, and she can get back, you know, three weeks here. I'm all for that. Why did you say to Jamie? Well, I think for you, too. But I know, I know, but Jamie's like, she, yeah, she's struggling right now, too.
I know, well, you know, she struggles all her life, and she feels it. She needs it. Well, of course it's because of Kim. I know it's because of Kim, and now it's because of Jeff. She needs stability. She needs to find herself. Yes, I know. And you have the same problem with her. Yes, I know, I know. That's why I'm coming. And you're gonna go for a counseling? Well, of course I am. Well, good, good. There you go.
Oh, my God, and I'm going, I'm gonna go back to where I was going there with Andy's kitchen. I still get all their text messages. They still come to me. So I'm still on board, so I'm still involved. In what? Yeah, and they know where I am. They know I'm coming back. Who's Andy's kitchen? Well, that's where we were going, at the women's shelter there. They call it Andy's kitchen. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, okay, okay. No, absolutely.
It's all native, right? So it's really based on native. And that's what they call it now. It's called Andy's kitchen, right? So everybody's Andy. So we're all Andy's together. I'm definitely going back there. It was great. Well, you know what? They're real. They're real. Absolutely, and there's just a mishmash of women in there, Mom. There's, like, business women. There's, like, derelict women. There's, like, it's, like, just a mishmash. Just talking about you. Okay, well, there you go.
There you go. I'm so glad that I didn't stop. I didn't, you know, I'm so glad that I could speak my mind. Always, Mom, with me. Always. I know, I know, I know, I know. Well, now I have to. I mean, now I just can't. I just can't keep it to myself. I have to for my own sanity. Well, you have to because a lot of you, you forget things like the card, right? Remember you said going off of what the cards, like, you found in the Bible? And I'm like, before you get upset, make up a story, right? But that's natural.
It's not just you. I know. That's a natural thing we do as humans because we are story-based. So if you don't, so you kind of know a few things, and it's completely natural to fill in the blanks. Right. Before you fill in the blanks, you, before you fill in the blanks, you start to get mad because you filled in the blanks. But, like, wives do that all the time, right? Yeah. Wives do it, right? So it's like everybody does it.
So you just, as soon as you start filling in the blanks, you've got to stop and be like, okay, I need to talk to that person because I'm making up a story, and now I'm getting pissed off. Right. But it's natural. It's not, it's not, like, No. No, I mean, well, I don't, I'm not only shocked when I found that card there. I'm like, just shocked. Yeah, I know. And just, so when you do that, and if you get, anytime, especially because you're getting all the time, you're forgetting things, right? Yeah, I know.
Anytime, anytime you're pissed off, especially with me, and even if it has to do with Tanya and you don't want to approach Tanya because you don't know, tell me, right? Yeah, I will. I will. I want to do the job. When I do that, you know what? I do this, and I talk to Joshua, too, and I tell Joshua things, too, and I tell Joshua, like, you know, just tell me what you think, you know? Just try to get what you're, yeah, and I'm just, He's talking, too.
Yeah, he is. Yeah. He's cool, too. He's cool, too. Yeah, I love him. Yeah, I love him so much. I've been sending him music, but he's been reaching out to me, too, because he goes, Mom and I were just talking, he goes, how are you? Oh, yeah. How's that thing going? I'm like, wow, he actually cares. And then when I told him about it, this is a new person to tell all my struggles to, right? I'm like, wow, you want to know? And I'm like, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, but instead of, like, everybody else going, yeah, yeah, whatever.
Right, yeah. There's no way, because he's dealt with the union, right? He's dealt with all that stuff. Right. I can't wait to hang out with him. I can't wait. I know. I know. Well, I mean, all I can say is that he's always been under, well, he's always been under control, right? Yeah. And now he's free. I know. You know, he's free. And she is free, too. She got her operation, and her things are going so bad, and she's happy with her school, and she's happy with the way things are going for her, and Joshua's happy with the way things are going for him.
And it's not together. It's their own thing, right? Yeah. Yeah. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. But I think they're both going to be graduating in the next couple of years. They're going to be free, and that's great for them. It's the same thing. It's a wake-up call, right? Yeah, exactly, a wake-up call. I'm so glad that you're staying here and never coming over to my house. I would have. I would have. I was just in shock.
And it kind of makes me mad at Tanya, to be honest, right? I'm like, I haven't really talked to her since. And I don't hold a grudge. I love my family. No, I know. No, no, I know. But it's just it was an eye-opener for me. I was like, you know, like, you know, Jamie and you both kind of, you know, you guys start this thing with Tanya, Tanya, and now I see it. Because Tanya's pretty selfish.
Yeah, I know. Very, very selfish. I know. I know. But you know what? But part of it is, part of it I do think is because you guys have fought all the time, and now all of a sudden she's got an opportunity where you're listening to her. She's got your attention that she wants it, right? She wants it so bad because she's fucked up, right? She's fucked up, right? Yeah. So it's like you guys are kind of having a relationship.
She's not going to step in and be like she's a, like she's like, I'm like, okay, you're going to take care of mom? And she's like, yeah. And now she's talking about moving already. I'm like, tell Mike why, right? Oh, well, then I move. She didn't want me to. She didn't want me to get back here. Oh, really? Yeah, when you get down there, there's all those people and all their family. She wants to come down there, right? Oh, yeah, I know.
I know. She's so much like Luke. She's so much like Luke. You know what Luke is? He was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was, he was Yeah, and a house is not a home, it's a feeling, like, it's like, that's another one I have, it's like, a house isn't a home, it's you, you, right, you make it a home, right? That's true, that's true.
It is, like, and just think about all the places I've lived, all the little places I've lived at, I never, I don't know if you remember, but, like, my first house, like, Riley, Riley never had a window. Right, and so when we moved here, God gave me this house, and I was like, well, how did you get it, and I'm like, oh, yeah, it was thanks to God. Like, what do you mean, I'm like, God, God gave it to me, absolutely, he did.
Ten years I've been here, ten years, yesterday, ten years. That's amazing, Annie. I know, it's amazing, it is amazing. But, I mean, it's fine, I mean, it has served you well. It has served me, it was amazing, exactly, my kids, yep, Annie was sad about giving it up, and I'm like, that's okay, so I'm going to Barbara's, and it's like, because your place to her is, that's her safe place, right? Yeah, yeah. You know, it's like that.
She will, she will, she will, right now, she went off last night, and she's just so lonely, right, she's all by herself out there, right, she's just so lonely, and she's just like, I just, that's why I'm going, I'm going there on December 3rd, I'm going to be there for a month, December 3rd until January 9th, I'm going to be there for her. Yeah, and we're going to the gym together, so we're going to go to the gym every day, like, we're not drinking, and we're going to, we're going to do that, we're going to knit, just like, it's so funny, you said, we'll sit and knit, and I'm like, holy shit, that's what Jamie's doing, she's knitting right now.
Well, I don't know how to knit, but, you know, I had all this stuff planned for us, too, so, that's okay, I got lots of stuff here that I can do anyway, I mean, I don't need you. Yeah, but I'm coming, you guys, just know I'm coming, like, I'm packing up, I'm leaving. I mean, we'll still do stuff, we'll still do stuff, no worries about that, but, yeah, I just, all of a sudden, I feel quite calm here, you know, quite calm here by myself.
Good, okay, that makes me so happy. I'm always in contact with you, or, you know, with the kids, my grandchildren, you know, they're always back and forth and everything else, so, I don't feel lonely. Oh, yeah, you know what, I've got to get Jamie, I'll get her to set up, because Weston's supposed to call you. She's like, the thing is, she's not good, right now, she's not good for Weston, right, that's why I'm going to teach, she's not good for Weston.
She's trying really hard, and she tries every morning, she starts off good, but by the end of the day, she's just, it's so much weight on her, right, and she's got, you know, she's got mental health issues, right, and she's got nobody, right, nobody. I know, but if she comes up to your Weston, she can come see me any time. I know, that's just it, exactly, exactly. Right, and so, like, she's all alone, and to be able to be like that is so hard, so, she will, I bet that she will, Mom.
I bet she will, especially if she knows she's welcome. Yeah, oh, can you text her that, Mom, because she's not sure about that, you should text her that, just so. Yeah, I will tell her, Mom, yeah. This is really important, it's really important, Mom, it's really important to do it right away. I'm going to do it right now, and I'm going to tell her to come up here and teach me how to fish. Yes, I do that, and knit, because she knits.
I will knit, oh, I like to, I would like to learn how to knit. I know she knows how, she could teach us. Yeah, exactly. I know, please tell her, she really needs to know she's welcome. I will do that, I will do that right now. Okay. Okay. Hey, I love you so much, Mom. And I love God. I love God, too, I love him so, I was in the shower, and I was like, I was just, something happened, and I was just crying, I was crying, crying, and I'm like, and all of a sudden, I'm like, oh, what was it? Wait, what was it? Something happened, because I was like so devastated, and then I was like, oh, a friend of mine here, he turned on me, he's just an asshole, and I was just like, I was so hurt, and then I realized, God, you just need to leave Kelowna, Nicole.
I'm like, and I looked up, it just came through my head, and I'm in my shower, and I just started bawling, and I'm like, thank you, God, I love you so much, like, so now this terrible thing that happened to me, like this guy being a dick, it was actually a blessing. I'm like, oh, I get it. I get it, God, I get it. Thank you, I love you. Exactly. Yeah, I was just like, holy shit, buddy, thank you so much.
I just kept telling him, thank you so much. I bawled in my eyes out in the shower. Thank you, I love you so much. We're such a wonderful family. We can all do this shit together, eh? We never will, and it's just like one of those signs that says, too, he goes, does your family have a problem with mental illness? And he goes, I don't think so, they seem to like it. That's what Joshua would say.
I know. He always has those things, I know. Oh, I know. Oh, that's funny. Oh, no, that's good. I'm just saying, because they don't plan on leaving their ears. No, I know. I'm so excited. I'm saying our kids will be gone, and we can be kids again. Pardon? Joshua and I are kids are gone, so we can be kids again. Like, I want him to treat me on a dirt bike. The other thing that scared me, and I thought a lot, and why this was coming, is you said that, oh, we can't have kids, but I can, I can come there, and we can act like teenagers.
Yeah. Well, can we teenagers take drugs? No, that's no, teenagers is like, like you, I said, you and me and Aunt Rita and Danny were going to watch like, like, what's it called, one of those things with ABBA. Oh, yeah. So we watched a movie, made popcorn, took them big girls, like big little girls, not teenagers, but big little girls, and then learn how to knit, right, do stupid things, cook. Yeah. That kind of stuff, right? Yeah.
Oh, yeah. It would be nice for Western, it would be nice for us to have Western, too. Yeah, it would be good for Western, because it takes a village, right? It takes a village to live in. Yeah. It would be good for Western, it would be good for you, and it would be good for me. Yeah, go, you go right now and text her. Oh, yeah, bye-bye. Bye-bye. Love you, bye. That's so good.
