What's up guys and welcome to the Purple Card Podcast, we're finally here after all this time and all this talk and what else can we do to celebrate but to keep on talking some more but I don't really like talking to myself, some people do, it's not really my thing so kind of had to bring someone along to talk with me this time and who else could I bring but none other than me, surprise, I'm here, yeah can you turn your mic up now everybody, it's me, so how do we meet, me, yeah, okay I didn't say my name, I'm Ayla and we met in what was it seventh grade at a christmas party and this is true christmas party but by a third party and we didn't know each other we did not, we were just still talking and that's how I remember yeah that's how this friendship came to be about christmas and seventh grade was a really long time ago what is that six years six years and that's crazy we're old we're always stuck actually we're getting out there we're like not too old still young still young um so yeah yeah and along like in those six years like we've done a lot we've done a lot we have yeah so I brought you on here to talk about none other than your favorite moment oh in those six years exciting yes so many moments um and I don't know what she's going to say so it's I don't know you know we've had a lot of moments I feel like you know a lot of interesting things have happened you know of course there was a time where you know I walked into a trailer park in the dark oh my gosh I didn't know where I was I was just a young black girl in this very crazy world in America yeah in a random trailer park can't sell America without it right looking for a car to pop some tires you know it was well-deserved though I feel like don't you agree yeah obviously obviously but um at our age how old were we you know we're probably like I don't know I was driving so 16 16 probably 16 probably yeah we bought masks we did we bought masks from fucking party city we were like bootleg bootleg robbers yeah we were cosplaying and then for no reason at all you started crying ah well no that was a creepy homeless man creeping that's scary you started crying I did yeah I did because I was scared what get me out of here you know as the cops came the cops came I was gone first one out of there you know what I'm saying you gotta do what you gotta do just like that we're off here just like that we're off done okay so what would you rank it uh like on a scale of one to ten yeah um honestly out of all the times I know it might have been the scariest it was probably like at least in like the top five funniest or like craziest funny now that I look back on it it was funny we bought nails I bought nails because I wasn't going to slash tires I was going to let this person run them over in the morning so I was going to like lean them against the tires so when they reversed make it look like it was done yeah so you know insurance for riding around yeah you know gotta make it look seamless you know gotta make it look seamless exactly just like that just like that but you know honestly my like top favorite had to be like prom because I feel like our most like prom I like how all the stories are on the crazy one yeah well when am I after the crazy one I when I get to mine oh please please okay we're going back and forth with this yeah okay my favorite one is the money heist you know you know what look at me you know you know what look at me you want to tell it tell the story okay okay guys so listen you know a girl was just out here in this world just trying just trying to find her a mate you know trying to find her some love in this cruel cruel world you know and so I went on a date you know it was fun it was nice we live in Burlington by the way well I did well technically technically he came to me because oh we don't go to no man they come to us you know what I'm saying right right but um yeah so I went on this date it was fine you know um everything went fine had a good day it left you know I get in the house I'm like oh no where's my wallet do you know where's my wallet you know all my cards my money social security card my identity you know I'm big so you know I'm texting this guy trying to get my wallet back and all this goodness and he's trying to get me on a date with him get my wallet back and I'm like not I'm not going for it because honestly like the day wasn't bad didn't you like try to ghost him before this or you found out your wallet was missing mm-hmm well well that's because like the day was fine don't get me wrong the day was fine it was a cute little vibe um my grandma just texted good morning good morning grandma but honestly I didn't really me and him didn't really click too well you know what I mean and it didn't I'm not a shallow girl don't get me wrong you know love me a short king but don't lie about your height that shit's unattractive oh my god I just thought about my next story I already know what you're about to say you fucker um but yeah don't lie about your height men stop doing that that's just goofy as fuck anyway um yeah like everything else you're gonna lie I'm saying no don't lie don't lie no um but anyway yeah so you know how did get my girl here you know we had to go get my wallet because I left it with him and you know it was great it's like a what was it like our drive yeah can I pick up the story from here go take it it was a two-hour drive oh it was a two-hour drive and I was asleep for most of it in the back seat so I remember when we arrived didn't he want you to like come up to his place he wanted her to come up to his apartment to retrieve their wallet and you were about to do it weren't you for a second because I was like it's my wallet I was like I gotta make sure I get everything out of it so you know it's like you gotta cooperate with the terrorists so they don't blow shit up you know what I'm saying so like so he didn't so he didn't like take anything very important I had to cooperate with him we're going to cut that part out huh I don't know what you were saying before um because like no for real because I didn't know what he was gonna do and that shit like you're supposed to carry a card back to things forever to get a new one like that's literally like this bitch right here I remember when he got mad at me when I was like I don't blame him yes because why would you say that and Charlotte two hours it took us I was half asleep in the back seat right and I didn't she don't check her damn wallet when she received said wallet remember and you're right now they're my cash is gone oh yeah you know like 60 bucks stole from her stole money from her exactly like what the hell I said bitch I would have stole from you too but I remember I just rose up from the back just to say that and I like you did I don't know why you would ever say that to me while I was in the middle of a crisis you know my heart was broken you stole my money like it was my dad so close to the story I bet he does I bet the fuck he does I usually know that ghost a man tries to ghost a man in texas and my wallet's at your house that's not ghost anymore yeah and then they start to steal from you well and then he's saying that she's at your social security card that's he did say that shit he did he really did and never in my life have I ever wanted to put hands on a man more than in that moment because what do you mean I can do a few more times maybe anyway anyway like if I had only picked one I don't think I'd pick that one but who would you pick you know who's really aggravating me you know what you know what you know what let's clock it let's clock it because honestly he aggravated the fuck out of me too he's like he's like really trying to like make his voice deeper maybe because I knew him before puberty then it was like not happening like I'm like no no no here's the problem here was the problem okay when we first like were together it was great it was you know he was a lot different then than he was when we like the most recent time we talked like I don't know I like him better the first time something in his like attitude his personality but honestly I just you know a lot of you know life happens shit happens I mean I changed a lot so you can't really hold it against him him changing but like the way he changed he needs to fix that if I'm being doffed he needs to fix it back yeah oh for everybody dom means dead ass thank you Hannah you do so like I like the money heist of 2025 what's another one um I'm scared she's mind you I'm like five six or seven I got a little high on me so anyway flash forward they meet like this ice cream shop and like I'm there like watching okay because I'm just I have to see this reaction she didn't believe me okay so he walks in we tried to walk it takes him like a few steps a few of you all right the steps were short they were short um I think he was short he was too that was a great transition he's like five foot like five foot tall like actually I just my problem was I was even minding short people but don't lie to me about your height he told me he was five six I'm five six so in my head I'm like okay this nigga don't come here he's gonna be my height cool dope he comes in he hops out the fucking car hops out the car they got my boobs his head is at my tit I'm like are you for real and I'm sitting here I'm so confused this this bitch right you were gonna run and leave me with this man oh my god the speaker I forgot about it oh my god he was like who was that I don't remember I know he was like this tall little emo dude I think he was honestly like the coolest person you dated I personally think he had a speaker so that says a lot but like he was like don't like he had like a little emo vibe to him you know he was like punk punk rock-esque wake me up literally literally that literally yeah yeah he was something he was oh my god he was the one and he was there was like connor yeah it was connor I think you're not I don't think there's was a name drop on the podcast but you could believe it I don't think he's gonna watch probably not if he's watching it that's the only sign that's really good oh my god and I remember he would text you a lot paragraphs paragraphs and like you wouldn't even be able to respond he texts more and more and more and I remember you had to we I was with you probably but I was with you when you were like trying to end things with them and oh my god novels did I date you he wrote you novels no but I just like ending talking okay good because y'all were technically talking and he was it seems like he was trying to wipe you up but you was not having it he was older than us too I think he was a little bit I'm pretty sure damn I completely forgot about damn I wish I remembered to hear of other things me too I would trade that that's crazy like I would remember him and trade other things I had to okay so now I'm I'm sure too now so you can go ahead and share one we can go ahead and share one I feel like you owe me like a slap in the face I owe you like a slap oh goodness I don't um I don't know I don't think I don't know what I mean prom like I said oh yeah you never told me I never did it was great you know obviously everybody it's like the typical prom like everybody has the same game plan you know get ready pre-game all that goodness and go in turn up everything like have a great time great perfect somebody got a little too hype before prom a lot too hype before prom um and quite a bit before prom you know like like an hour before prom she was already up here you know and it lasted the whole prom I don't know how but it did it lasted the whole prom and she stayed up um you know had to deal with the whole meltdown before prom it was great I had these cute jewels on my face and they all came off she did her makeup was eating eating boom that was so sad it was it was sadder I didn't like any of the pictures before really but then we got you in the prom and it was fine I just wanted to dance like honestly I thought we wasn't gonna be able to get her into prom yes she was like when we pulled into where the prom was at what was the country club the country club yeah she was like rolling down the windows y'all knew everybody I was like hey you look great I was hyping everybody up though life of the party life of the party but then again I would have to sneak her in past the cops yeah which honestly wasn't that hard because I think they knew that everybody was to some extent a little because it's fucking prom like who doesn't expect but I was a lot of you were you really were but honestly you did calm it down for a second you know and I went up to this person I was like my name is Morgan like this I'm pretty sure she smelled the alcohol on your breath when you did that you think because I'm like convinced I'm like I am very convinced that she did because like it was hard not to yes it was hard not to bro you I don't even know I don't even know like remember how much you drank but you were up there you was gone I was trying to get like you but I was having to take care of you so I couldn't get like you I have so many people I have people that I like don't like like at school turn them I don't know and I just had to sit there and watch you and let you and just be like like it was like good though because I think it was a good send-off from school yeah I mean I don't really remember it much but like what you told me it was a good send-off you're doing the car nardos I lost my shoe you did lose your shoe I went in on Birkenstocks he did you gotta make sure I get my alert see I think prom's like down on our list though thanks I loved prom prom was fun for me personally I think I had a lot of head things going on this time it wasn't really crazy necessarily but it was definitely a good moment it was funny I think I had a good old time a great old time oh my god you're really you're trying to get that girl don't even I was by that time I was hooked up so don't even and the thing is I was drunk and still told her no like do you remember that no maybe I made that up in my head you did great that show was funny though hilarious oh my god you know what I'm about to say you remember that time you dated that guy I'm just kidding technically technically I don't think we did date like that's on your list though that's in your browser history you've got a virus okay maybe I did date him but then again you know could you have the queen or barely got a kiss but I barely got a kiss got a peck oh and then it was terrible this big ass bulky ass cross like let's you know all that but like this big ass bulky ass cross it even looked like um it didn't like it looked like like weird yeah I don't know it just didn't it was like one of them ones that like the old dudes yes like someone on like a stool on a porch yeah rocking like yeah they have that on right for sure for sure I don't know I yeah he was it was interesting you know it was your fault I even dated him in the first place though because you were with his friend he did but you were with his friend and you wanted us to be able to go on double date so you were like hey let's date his creepy little weird friend that looks like a cricket and I was like you know what for the plot sure it lasted about a week he looked like spider look it up look it up right now spider brief intermission now I'm just going to talk to you while she looks this up because he did look like spider look it up try it I need you to like even the coloring wasn't there like coming at you I don't know how you did that that's like something you run from in the night in the night y'all in the night do you see it it's accurate isn't it very accurate okay pretty accurate just like imagine that like probably they put a cross necklace and a ponytail and you got it because I can just imagine you having to pull that oh my god you know I'm about to say now right what are you about to say god what are you about to say you just keep saying you remember that time okay I'm gonna do me first okay okay you remember that time I went on that date with that kid you know we're leaving now don't you but I'm gonna embarrass myself first and I almost got like like low-key like he came late but his dad dropped him off his dad did drop him off and sat at the bar and waited for him to go on a date but in my defense I was trying to get somebody else with the dates she was plotting on one of my co-workers very weird experience honestly like a weird strategy yeah because first of all this girl made me go on a date right she wanted no no no she wanted to do this double date right because she wanted to who knows what she wanted to do and so she made me go to my place of work on this damn double date they told me who the day was with no no no surprise me flowers I wanted somebody who did not want it to be so I had to go on a date with this man I did I forgot about that and you tried to swoop in and come in for the rescue but did not I would have rather went alone personally um but I did appreciate like the gesture uh we should have just went together we should have we're we're better just two of us anyway that's look that shit was so funny it was weird like literally my literally my co-workers were like y'all want a date oh she's a friend I'm just a friend it's not a date she's a friend I remember I did have to ghost him after that date I did no and he has tried multiple times multiple multiple times I could not I cannot good pizza though shout out my love mushroom love you guys miss you guys first job favorite job that was funny I remember my like most humbling moment ever was her date told the waiter that I got set up by a kid that was humbling because I was like what I was 17 at the time oh that's what you get for first of all that's what you get for inviting somebody you knew you already previously had like y'all like have like a weird like like frenemies situation going on we did like we were like always arguing it's been a long time y'all like a long time like I think you can see the desperation in my eyes I don't know who she thought she was fooling with that damn bald cap in this purple ass car I'm like who you about to stop in this do too I probably do I I just miss getting the free movies and you got the movie posters yeah that was really cool I was working at the theater just to get the screen poster that's all they want oh my gosh you did that was your whole reason of getting the job my whole goal was and then after I did I think I quit not too long after I hated that bitch ass ass ass this bitch ass manager she made my life a living hell do you remember Kayla do you remember her she had dark hair she's white I don't know not really I don't know but like she um she was just mean like she was just bitchy like I felt like she was like the evil stepmom and I was like Cinderella there like that's what it was giving like this bitch is not like me for some reason and at this point like I couldn't like hold my like anything back so like we were just going at it like I remember there was one time um she wanted me to come with her to change the movie posters and I was like this so like you know who like swooped in was like I'll go with her thank you because like what the fuck what we're gonna talk about like what we're gonna talk about like I want to see like if she asked me to like hold this I didn't let you know you do it you got two hands I would have got fired I would have got fired I've never been fired y'all I've never been fired but like I probably should have been like a lot yeah as a movie I think you definitely should have got fired I should have gotten fired at the movies for sure for sure for sure I was doing too much at too young of an age um I don't think there's honestly a job I should have got fired from honestly I feel like I'm a great worker do you remember when I tried to work at mellow with you and they didn't hire me oh my god yeah like we've been so different can you imagine would it I mean you wouldn't have worked there at all you would have made my life hell there though you know why I don't think us working together would be a good thing I thought we work fine together if we're in different departments maybe yes like I would love to just have a lunch break with you together together I feel like I'll work we wouldn't yeah we weren't getting together we worked good together at red robin I think our ways of working are different we work different so we clash a little bit uh we were arguing a lot at red robin I felt like but it was also because it had a mix of shit with red robin too because that bitch-ass little fucker you want to be all buddy buddy with at first that was the start of our like kind of not getting along at red robin and then honestly I think red robin is really just like a toxic environment to work in yeah it was when I let loki like I have a mix like like I have mixed reviews about red robin because it kind of did a lot for me and like getting new places and like letting me do things and I'm like very like thankful for like doc and all that kind of stuff but like it's it's like a reality show it's like being on a reality show except you're not getting that check every week right well I am getting a check bi-weekly but it's not worth the reality show honestly I liked about that job were the people I met a few of them a few of them there's like three or four people I met that I was like well I really fuck with y'all um and I think everybody you're thinking I don't like not everybody I'm thinking Alyssa I like we love her yeah um let me see are we name dropping am I naming yeah we can dig that out okay well I mean back when I was there who I would say would probably can't even probably one of them Margo and then that that that girl you remember that girl that came that worked there um she was make shit glasses you didn't work with her much she was like new she had been working there for a little bit so I didn't know her in weeks I don't know I had to know yeah you had to have met her but she you you don't have to break this part out but you you remember everybody thought her boyfriend was beating her ass because she came to work like she got it work I know she couldn't yeah I like her yeah I like she was my favorite yeah like really fuck what I thought like we could have been becoming friends I don't night this guy we love him um he was really cute and I really fucked with him but he was a little he was just a little more flamboyant for my liking and there's nothing like nothing against that but because honestly all the dudes let's talk about Tyler who was one you did pick out for me and probably the worst decision of my entire life and after that after that I will never let you pick out I don't care I don't care I don't care but think about who you picked out for me who did I pick out for you who like right will you like kind of push like Melissa on me don't do that because first of all I didn't even know you were even really into it because actually technically speaking if you want to be honest I stopped pushing for that and then you made us go on that stupid date to my love ocean so you could see her so she could see you and so that she could get a look at you and you're gonna do and then after that she talked to me and asked for your shit and then y'all started talking I remember my jeans at night that's why my jeans are really cute that night I had like uh I remember do you remember maybe you probably don't remember my jeans no they're really cute they had like a little heart cut out on them on the side oh I do remember you do remember them don't know where those go or don't know where they went so I saw them you have them a while ago because I don't have any on it it's been a long minute they're really cute there that was like a flop night it was do you remember when like we went to the pool and like we hid in the thing yeah we went to the pool and it was so fucking hot and we hid in like the like dressing room like area locker room area and like we were young at this point because when people were picking us up and they couldn't get a hold of us so like literally they walked around the whole like pool area talking to the lifeguards and everything like have you seen these girls mm-hmm you know how fucking embarrassing that is so embarrassing it was bad we came out and like literally the whole pool like everybody at the pool was looking for us and we just talked about we're like oh hi hi just looking for our evening nap you know just got a good little shut eye like we had our phones we didn't have any signals we did not I was so burnt I looked like that other time I was so dark I was crisp crisp as a motherfucker looking like a piece of bacon I don't eat bacon anymore I know you don't I'm so proud of you I'm not vegetarian y'all she's a vegetarian now I don't eat any kind of meat though going strong for how long now since our night rap concert okay I have one guys I got this chicken tendon that looks like a like a shriveled up fetus and it like turned me off that's also similar to my story about men but I tried not to eat pork you know it hasn't worked so far I really like bacon so bacon's a good one though like bacon is a hard one to turn I'm trying to realize I really like bacon I really like pepperoni and pizza I like cheese I put pepperoni and bacon on my pizza my favorite pizza is my little mushrooms buffalo chicken pizza though like that's literally my hands down favorite pizza we should go sometime do you want to go before we go back yeah are you serious because I've been wanting the pizza yeah we can do that instead of going to the mall really okay cool I'm fine with that actually yeah okay it's a date it's pretty oh you know what though because I think there was actually some metal mushroom drama that like I'm involved in and so now the people I think some of the people at metal mushroom do have a little bit of beef with me why Emily um specifically because so on one of my explorations you know I was hanging out with Kaylee and she had a guy in the car with her I didn't know this guy don't know know who it was though and that was the only text I ever got from her after I left yeah that's sad and didn't hear from her and honestly it really fucking sucked too because I really did fuck with her
